Hmm... no, not really.  This (while being very cool) is a "middle"
layer of sorts in the printing process.  Qt/KDE would still do its
printing with QPrinter/QPainter in postscript and lpr or lprng or
whatever would still do the actual printing.  This library would sit
in the middle and just offer a way to choose printers based on the
printers' abilities.
