Hi,

I would like to be sure if current KDE1.1.2 applications will run under
the future KDE2, without recompilation.

I think this means you must have the two KDE set of packages (kde*) and
the two qt libs (qt-1.44 and qt2.x f.e).

Is there any compatibility problem, in term of naming, linking or
_protocols_ ?
