In this matter I think that we should take a mature aproach... I know there are
a LOT of anti-gates linux lovers out there but we have to analise carefully the
facts.
 MSWindows can be the worst OS in some ways, but it excels in user
interface. They have years in experience in dealing with GUIs and allways
follow all the usability rules.
I think that for creating a great GUI (one of the aims of kde) we have to
learn with other more experienced GUIs out there... and yes, even MSWindows.
We have to decide what's good, improve what's not so good and create new ideas.
In my opinion SDI, stacked SDI and MDI are great inventions and are not
MSWindows specific, other OSs out there use them.
