Well, I guess that no console mode editor knows Unicode. This has to be
checked, of course, by contacting emacs or vi specialists, but I wouldn't bet
on that.

For X editors, I can't give an answer right now either. But what about the KDE
stuff ? (As Matthias Ettrich would say, "eat your own shit" ;-) ). kwrite is
very nice (in my opinion) for editing stuff like DocBook, thanks to syntax
colouring and other features. kfte, kedit, klyx and kword have a little chance
of suiting this need too.

So, please, kde developers, what advice would you give us for editing UTF-8
documents? If it is not possible right now, could you add Unicode support in a
near future ?
