The following features could really enhance KDE:

1) hidden window translucence
2) preview the action
3) show what happens
   ---
ad1) When a window is hidden behind others and the mouspointer is
hovering
above its icon the frame and the titlebar could be shown to give the
user a preview of what's going to change when it's clicked.

I personally think it is good to have such kind of preview to let the
user know what will be done before IT IS DONE. This prevents us from
doing and undoing several things like that!

The overall interaction with the KDEnviroment could be improved.

ad2) A bubblehelp like a transparent message of what may be expected
when the moousebutton is clicked at that position. With increasing info
level in dependence of the time spent waiting above the region (This
would be very helpful for beginners AND professionals).

ad3) Actions should give an immediate answer to the user. For example
when a program, i.e. kmail is clicked at and started the text: "kmail
started" should pop up next to the mousepointer and fade out slowly. (in
fact it would be a small list of the past actions) It could also be
possible to leave the message at the region where the action was done.

Could You please send me a reply if you think that there exist obvious
obstacles that would block the realization of these features?!

ciao BoP
