Yes.  Have setCaption take two arguments caption and appname (default
zero).  If appname is zero, retrieve it from kapp.  Then set the caption
to some default style (say app - caption).  And then finally set three
atoms, two strings: one for the appname, one for the caption and one
integer (for the format).  Changing an atom on a window triggers some sort
of X event that would be possible for kwm to trap.
