1.  I run make -f Makefile.cvs.  Seems ok.

2. When running ./configure with the parameters as recommended in the
HOW, I get a

  ./configure: else: command not found

But then when I just "./configure" I don't get the error.

What is the problem with this?

3. When compiling, it complained about not finding kio header files so
I added kio to the include path in the configure script.

What is the problem with this?

4. Now I get the below link error.

g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -I../../kio -I../../kdecore
-I../../kdeui -I/usr/local/qt/include -I/usr/X11R6/include
-I/usr/local/kde/include     -O2 -c file.cc
/bin/sh ../../libtool --silent --mode=link g++  -O2 -L/usr/local/kde/lib
-L/usr/local/qt/lib  -L/usr/X11R6/lib -rpath /usr/local/kde/lib -rpath
/usr/local/qt/lib -rpath /usr/X11R6/lib -o kio_file  file.o
../../kio/libkio.la
O libtool: link: `../../kio/libkio.la' is not a valid libtool archive
make[3]: *** [kio_file] Error 1

I don't have a libkio.la any where.

Help.
