Hi

I have sent this to kde-devel and kde-core-devel yesterday but it seems like
the mail server eats my mails. :-(

Hi

I had some extra time today because the  weekend trip I was
planning did not take place. I took some KDE 2.0 pre-alpha ;-) screenshots and
wrote some description text. The page should be available with the next update
of the web servers from the www CVS module.

Check out http://www.kde.org/kde2shots.html in a few minutes/hours (the
webservers are updated every 4 hours as far as I know) and correct spelling or
gramar mistakes in case you are a native speaker.

Somebody might want to add a link on the mainpage and send a mail to
slashdot, linuxtoday and on kde-announce. I still remember the slashdot effect
that took place when I did the last major update to the screenshots pages so
this should give us lots of traffic on www.kde.org and hopefully increase the
interest in KDE 2.0. I tried to keep the description texts as simple as
possible to make them understandable for people with little technical
background (the average news-site reader ;-).
