I want to turn RLab (a matrix-manipulation engine) into an
Open Part and pass data to KPlot for plotting.

Can I pass around large blocks of data efficiently with KOM?  If I'm
RLab and KPlot are on the same computer (but running in different
processes), will shared memory be used to pass the data?
