Having played with each a little, I'd mention that Midgard is very focused
on articles, topics, FAQs, and so on, which Zope is a more generalized app
server  which would be a better choice for real "web-based apps."  Of
course, Zope could go either way, but it's a little more complicated, while
Midgard syntax is basically PHP with some extra features for story
posting/management.  Midgard, BTW, currently requires MySQL, but they're
looking to add ODBC support (I can't remember which lib they're going to
use).
