Almost there.  It now completely crashes at KEdit.desktop, at
PMenuItem::getFullPathName (this=0xbffff8dc) at pmenuitem.h:76; while
before it just ignored the icons.

Sometimes it would crash with the QString + operator, other times a
length() call within QString.  On that line, both variables contain
valid data, so I don't know what to say...
