FWIW, you don't need a "fully" working HEAD to work on 2.0 features.  In your
case, you can get by with kdecore, kdeui, and kio.  None of them require the
CORBA stuff.  Disable the check for 'mico' and get rid of the corba sub-dirs
in your configure script and away you go!
