Very interesting suggestion to fix the kfm/kfmlib

Could whoever change that recently do what is suggested below ?
I'm very short of time

Apparently I can't send messages to kde-devel. That's why I send it to
you. I really hope that under 1.1.2 kde can be run simultaneously from
several machines: As of Sept. 1 we will be using it in a lab setting and
some students may log on several machines simultaneously.

Couldn't kfm (from KDE-1.2) write both ~/.kde/share/apps/kfm/pid_0.0 and
~/.kde/share/apps/kfm/pid<HOSTNAME>_0.0 ? If you are using kde on a single
machine everything would work as before. If you are using it from several
machines and have upgraded all applications you are ignoring
~/.kde/share/apps/kfm/pid_0.0 anyways. If you haven't upgraded you still have
the same problem as under 1.1.1.

Or am I wrong somewhere?

Andreas
