It's not worth the hassle I'd have to go through. The Motorola security
department is already veeeery suspicious of me so every time I have to go
"talk" with them, it takes longer and longer.

Case in point: I put in a request to have the permissions of /tmp/.X11-unix
changed so that I could write to it. I got a call from my boss a couple of
days later asking why security would be asking if I was a loyal employee or
not. He had to vouch that I was indeed a loyal Motorolan and I would never
dream of breaking into any systems before they would drop their
"investigation". And they still wouldn't change the permissions for me.

Now can you imagine what their reaction would be if I asked them to modify
files in /etc/dt???

:-)
