I had the same problem. Plus some others caused by coolo's am_edit-rewrite (it
kept adding \034 in the Makefile). But the worst is that all programs linking
to the resulting libs get sth. like:
/usr/local/kde-2/lib/libkdecore.so: undefined reference to `QBitmap::QBitmap(int,
int, bool)'
/usr/local/kde-2/lib/libkdecore.so: undefined reference to `QPixmap::QPixmap(int,
int, int)'                       
On the other hand, I never got that far for a long time since I had a serious
hard disk problem (the reason for me to write a diskeditor).
