Ok, a partial solution is to make precompile binaries for the major
distributions available from time to time. Lets call them interim
releases. The feedback would also be valuable for the KOffice developers.

Anybody who's comfortable using KDE should use it. Anyone who wants to
tell other people what they should be using can go to work for Microsoft.
