On my side deletion simply doesn't work. It doesn't crash the panel but
an icon once added stays there until I edit kpanelrc at hand.

konqueror doesn't take care of the desktop anymore. We have to wait for
kdesktop. So, krootwm should die if you try (krootwm will be included in
kdesktop). Until then, no icons on the desktop.

It is (try RMB click on the desktop and choose "Execute command"). It's
KAccel which is completely screwed up (thus hitting Alt-F2 does nothing).
KAccel reports that all the keys were initialized with QString::Null,
which is bad, of course.

I'm more than happy, I'm astonished. Just think a little. Less than 3
months ago, we just were releasing KDE-1.1. Now we have completely new FM,
Help Center, IO libraries. Plus CORBA everywhere (almost :-). And it
works!!!
