What is the point of using "-fno-exceptions -fexceptions" on the g++ command line? MICO 2.2.3 appears to do this because of badly written configure scripts and my guess is that someone just copied the MICO settings into corba/configure.in without thinking about them. Is this correct? If so should I change it to "-fexceptions" or just remove it altogether (I believe that the default is to enable exceptions)? Also what is the point of having a "-O0" on the end of the flags? Is this a bug or is it a work-around for some strange bug in GCC whereby code can't be compiled correctly when optimized? -- I am in London and would like to meet any Linux users here. I plan to work in London for 6 months and then I might move to some other place where the pay is good.
