When I create a new shortcut to a program using New->Application from the
root window right-click-menu, this points to nothing until I change it.
According to your plan, the kdelnk will disappear before I have a chance to
change it.

Possible solutions:
1. Only hide "bad" kdelnk's in the panel and menus, and add to the icon of
"bad" kdelnk's in kfm an "x" or something.
2. Do not disregard a kdelnk pointing to nothing (blank field), but only
pointing to something that doesn't exist.

Yannai.
