For kfm : it's done by the library called khtmlw in KDE-1.x
For konqueror : it will be done by the lib called khtml (an improved
     version of khtmlw)
For koffice : it's done by an Openpart version of khtml, called kohtml, and 
     located in koffice/

The three are parsers written in c++.
