Hi all,

Just a note to whoever is working on kdm:

The default command in the kdm configure file, for shutting down a machine is
"/sbin/shutdown" - this won't work, at least under Linux, Digital Unix,
Solaris and NetBSD, because shutdown requires an argument.

It should be "/sbin/halt" (/usr/sbin/halt for Solaris).

The default reboot command is "/sbin/reboot", and this works fine [except
under Solaris, of course, which just has to be different ;) ]

Cheers,

Paul.
