Ok, feel like a dolt on this one....just reinstalled my machine here w/RedHat
5.1 after having just put a new HD in it, and can't for the life of me get
Xauthority to work right again.  Previously, I had RH5.0 running w/XFree86,
KDE, and Kdm and it all worked just fine.  However, since I rebuilt everything
from source and reinstalled it all, I can't get Xauthority to work at all. 
Tried editing the /etc/X11/xdm/* files to make sure that they're trying to use
xauth stuff and that it's set to use the magic cookie, but it still doesn't
seem to be working.  Anyone got any idea what I've missed?
