Hello Preston,
since you asked for it: 
I added four new methods to the KDatePicker class,
	void setFontSize(int size);
	int fontSize(); // return it
	void setHeadlineSize(int size);
	int headlineSize(); // return it
You can now either set BOTH the main font size the headline font size using the
first method (headline font size is then 2 pts larger than the general
fontsize), or set the headline font size independently from the rest using
setHeadlineSize.
Unfortunately I think that changing the font size does not change the widgets
minimum size very much, but you should try yourself.
I will check it in now.
