The rpms really seem to be ok. Ship the to RedHat.

I currently do compile all available kde packages with the new libs on the
Debian machine. kdelibs and kdebase went through...
I do not expect any qt related problems with the others....
Actually I expect you guys have been at least compiling the latest kde
once with 1.3 ;-)

On an old RH 3.0.3 Picasso I had first to update rpm and then it worked
rpm -Uvh --nodeps qt-1.30-1.i386.rpm
rpm -Uvh --nodeps qt-1.30-1.src.rpm 

[root@max konold]# rpm -q qt
qt-1.30-1
I will try some compiles on this machine too...

P.S.: I have just seen the VERY impressive statistics on our mailing list
archive. I got enormeous number of hits from everywhere. I think we can
