Am I correct to assume you want this to allow some sick connect()
shortcut between KScrollBar and (some class here)?

And since you can't possibly be using this for real scrolling (since
half-pixels don't mean much), you should be calling this KSlider, right?

The general-purpose solution sounds like a divisor being inserted with 
some slot. Which sounds like a perfectly reasonable solution to me.

What features would you add other than overloaded valueChanged() and
setValue() (and friends...)?
