You mean "no Dr. Konqui"?
-> run plasma-* in gdb
gdb --args plasma-desktop 2>&1 | tee plasma-desktop.dbg
(gdb) run

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0xb6c32913 in __call_pselect6 () from /usr/lib/libc.so.6
(gdb) bt
[ press enter until you reach the end of the stack ]
(gdb) detach
(gdb) quit

Even if plasma-desktop/plasmoidviewer does not produce a backtrace in gdb, it will \
cause some other error (ld/lib resolution)
