That's my service file:
apol@thinktatil:~$ cat /usr/share/xsessions/p2master.desktop
[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=Plasma 2 Master
Exec=/home/kde-devel/kde5/bin/startkde
Type=Application
You need to set your environment variables in a /etc/profile.d/something
file.
