Everyone, I am interested i= n how touch interface support is being developed in KDE.

I just recently installed Sabayon 14.16 which (should) have recent KDE buil= d. I find the touch interface rather bland.
The main weakness:
1. Dragging across the screen moves the m= ouse cursor and/or select items.
2. High accuracy needed to perfo= rm double-click (double tapping)
3. Two finger zoom not working

I figure that the behavior is not expected on people accusto= med to touch in Android or other touch OSs. Meanwhile, Android OS support a= dditional mouse and keyboard quite natively.

I'd like to know where touch interface is being developed. I am aware o= f plasma active, but I am using regular desktop KDE in my touch-enabled not= ebook and I don't hope to fully use mobile. Some improvements can be ma= de that KDE can be more touch friendly than Windows 8 desktop version.=C2= =A0

Please share me what you think, and/or point me to the = right place where touch developed.=C2=A0

Hi,
I would suggest you to take a look at Plasma Next wher= e most of the development is happening and see what's the state there, = I'll be happy to see new improvements in that area. In Qt5 you'll p= robably have better API's anyway.

Cheers!
