I came across an issue. The issue is, while executing pmc from command line: $ plasma-mediacenter /home/sujith/Music/a.mp3 It didn't played a.mp3. Because I had 3 playlist in pmc( "a", "Default", "test"). It got added to "Default" playlist. But pmc started playing the first song of playlist "a". Now I have a problem here: - The "Default" playlist is getting cleared completely and then it adds the song from the command line to it. - Playing wrong song which is passed from command line. Now the solution that came to my mind is: - Have a playlist to control the songs from command line. Now the problem here is then what to do with "Default" playlist( I mean should w= e handle with "Default" playlist or a new playlist is really required)? - Have the songs in the new playlist, lets say "Cmd line" as name of playlist. And add the songs to it. Is there a need to keep the playlist as such in pmc or to delete it. If I have to keep "Cmd line" then what about if I pass next range of song(s) from command li= ne in the next relaunch? Do I need to overwrite the songs in "Cmd Line"? Should we allow the user to save the songs played from command line? Couldn't find any proper solution for this. In case any one of you got a better idea or user experience it would be nice to know, so that I can move forward implementing them. Hi all,

To= day while using the Plasma-mediacenter(pmc) built from master branch. I cam= e across an issue. The issue is, while executing pmc from command line:
$ plasma-mediacenter /home/sujith/Music/a.mp3
It didn't = played a.mp3. Because I had 3 playlist in pmc( "a", "Default= ", "test"). It got added to "Default" playlist. Bu= t pmc started playing the first song of playlist "a". Now I have = a problem here:
  • The "Default" playlist is getting cleared completel= y and then it adds the song from the command line to it.
  • Playing wr= ong song which is passed from command line.

Now the solution th= at came to my mind is:

  • Have a playlist to control the songs from command line. Now the pro= blem here is then what to do with "Default" playlist( I mean shou= ld we handle with "Default" playlist or a new playlist is really = required)?
    • Have the songs in the new playlist, lets say "Cmd line" a= s name of playlist. And add the songs to it. Is there a need to keep
      the= playlist as such in pmc or to delete it. If I have to keep "Cmd line&= quot; then what about if I pass next range of song(s) from command line
      in the next relaunch? Do I need to overwrite the songs in "Cmd Line&qu= ot;?=C2=A0 Should we allow the user to save the songs played from command l= ine?

Couldn't find any proper solution for th= is. In case any one of you got a better idea or user experience it would be= nice to know, so that I can move forward implementing them.

Thanks,

Sujith H
