Dear Thiago Macieira,

I still get the same error.

1: start console session as root user (no x server running, no kdm)
2: # export XDG_DATA_DIRS=/opt/kde/share:/usr/local/share/:/usr/share/
   # export XDG_CONFIG_DIRS=/etc/kde/xdg:/etc/xdg
3: kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental
	kbuildsycoca4 running...
	kbuildsycoca4(2225)/kdecore (services) KServicePrivate::init:
	The desktop entry file "unnamed.desktop" has Type= "Link"
	instead of "Application" or "Service"
	kbuildsycoca4(2225) KBuildServiceFactory::createEntry: Invalid
	Service :  "unnamed.desktop"
4: start kdm
# kdm

X server starts
I get kdm login window.
I log in.
The kde progress bar shows on blue background "disk", "tools", "globe"
etc.
Then a kde session starts with a kickoff application launcher in the
left corner (K-menu). The desktop is black. I can launch Konqueror,
Dolphin etc, but all complain about mime, in the same way.

Then; Same error as before
pop up window stating:
- -Error Run Command Interface
Could not find mime types:
"inode/directory"
"inode/blockdevice"
"inode/chardevice"
"inode/socket"
"inode/fifo"
"application/x-shellscript"
"application/x-executable"
"application/x-desktop"

.xsession_errors file

How to provide more debug data?

Magnus
