Hello Kushal,
I am glad to see that you are interested in this project.
The idea is very simple actually: you need to create a web application
(that will contain API, preferably using OAuth for authentication) that
will be able to fetch all related data for a project, even being able to
create graphical statistics. This project would need to link in a very same
place several platforms:
- Mailing lists
- Repository (or repositories)
- Bug tracking
It is an essential requirement that the application is i18n'ed and l10n'ed.
I'd say that you should at least create your mother tongue language as well
as english, but this will only be done if you developed faster than
expected, so it is not essential to provide two languages, but it is
essential to develop the application with i18n and l10n in mind.
The requirement is Ruby because we thought to do this with Rails
(preferably Rails 3), so if you have previous experience I 磀 be glad to
check that out.
I'd like to hear now from you, please tell me how do you see the
architecture and how do you plan to achieve the objectives.
