If KGet would have been using partitioning of remote file it'ld have been faster. Yes , their is tabs available with KIO+Dolphin & Konqueror but the kind of interface I'm talking about is like this :- *http://www.flickr.com/photos/61065567@N05/5563165683/ *with all the facility. This type of interface will be very easy to use & transfer file between. Not really. Both Dolphin and Konqueror have split view and tabbing functionality.

kio_ftp already does that.
