Hi all,

can someone provide me with some tips to get my KDE SC 4.5
installation working again? I'm running Kubuntu 10.04 64 bit with the
4.5 debs from https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa ... but
about anything report that kio_file cannot be loaded... kio_html
cannot be loaded either... they are properly installed in
/usr/lib/kde4/, and kde4-config reports it too:

$ kde4-config --path module
/home/egonw/.kde/lib/kde4/:/usr/lib/kde4/

I have been bugging the #kde and #kubuntu IRC channel about it, but
the really supportive help did not resolve my issue yet...

Clearly, the debs are working for many others, so there is something
weird about my machine... I tried a new account, which seems to rule
out any config stuff in $HOME...

Are there any further things I can check, allowing me to figure out
why the kio .so's are not loaded... here's the output of a kioclient
session:
