KDE's Phonon replaces Qt's Phonon for all intents and purposes.  You 
should not be using Qt's Phonon in the first place if you have KDE 
installed.  Building Qt without Phonon-support is the most 
straightforward way to do that.

So why would you not want to build Qt without Phonon?
