Folderview lets you create links to devices, but the intent to mount them ends 
with a message "only root can mount them". This is a known bug

However, I just upgraded my kde-4.3.0 to kde-4.3.2 ( linux from scratch ) and, 
according to the log, all known bugs should have been fixed for this version. 
I was therefore surprised, the above mentioned bug still exists !! It is not a 
matter of life or death, but the bug is nasty. Could we not get ride of it ? I 
think, distros have managed the problem, but the poor self-compiling guys ?

I, at least, would be very thankfull!
