No problem. I'm not looking for a new home for my child ;)

I think that you misunderstood my offering. It was about the piano widget, a
component based on Qt4 that can be installed as a QtDesigner plugin, and it
is also published alone, without VMPK, for instance here:
http://qt-apps.org/content/show.php/Virtual+Piano+Keyboard?content=85050

As the author of the widget, I can also offer a different license (for the
widget) if that matters.

So, to clarify. There is a problem in the widget included in KMid to show a
piano keyboard, because using QPainter outside of paintEvent() is not
supported in Mac and Windows. This would be a problem if some day KMid is
enhanced to support these platforms. So, I'm offering to replace it with my
multiplatform virtual piano component.

I'm interested in KMid, and very sorry for the orphan.

Regards,
Pedro
