improve KIO. KIO is not only used for copying files around.

Metalink files can contain links to multiple files, so this should be 
implemented in KGet (AFAIK). If KGet is too much overhead, add Metalink 
support to kioclient or KIO itself.

Even easier with kioclient copy.

Alright... as you see, I don't think any of these points justifies a whole new 
application. If you're missing any of these features, it should be much easier 
to implement them in KIO or some system-wide library, to let any KIO-enabled 
application benefit from this immediately.
