Subject: Missing KDE library?  (TRUNK)

While trying to diagnose what appears to be a D-BUS problem, I am 
running 'startkde' from an Xterm and I find this strange error message:

kdeinit4: preparing to launch 
/usr/local/KDE-TRUNK/lib/libkdeinit4_knotify4.so
Could not open library /usr/local/KDE-TRUNK/bin/knotify4: Cannot load 
library /usr/local/KDE-TRUNK/lib/libkdeinit4_knotify4.so: 
(/usr/local/KDE-TRUNK/lib/libkdeinit4_knotify4.so: cannot open shared 
object file: No such file or directory)

I checked and the "libkdeinit4_knotify4.so" doesn't exist.

Any theories?
