Please note that this behaviour can change without notice. There have been 
internal talks more than once about implementing Unicode comparison directly 
in Qt, thereby avoiding the round-trip to locale encoding (which would also 
get rid of the limitation of not being able to compare Unicode strings which 
don't fit into your locale).
