If you are using Qt4.5 and you want to have that GTK theme for
Qt4/KDE4 apps , you can choose the Qt4 widget style named "GTK", and
set your GTK theme to that gnome-look style. So, you will get that
look on all yout GTK/Qt4/KDE4 applications. (And you can ask its
developer to implement the features you want)
This would be easier (and quicker) than reimplementing all that style in pure Qt
