Nothing has changed in the KDE=20 policies: 1) KDE libraries are written in C++ 2) core KDE applications are written in C++ 3) any other KDE application can be written in any language of the=20 author's preference. There is a C# binding for both Qt and KDE libraries. There's nothing=20 stopping people from writing applications using that. And those who don't=20 want said applications are also free not to use them (see point #2 above). This has nothing to do with Microsoft, patents, standards, or Novell. =2D-=20 Thiago Macieira - thiago (AT) macieira.info - thiago (AT) kde.org PGP/GPG: 0x6EF45358; fingerprint: E067 918B B660 DBD1 105C 966C 33F5 F005 6EF4 5358 --nextPart3254803.JnIAfptLDn Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBJNboDM/XwBW70U1gRAqCBAKCV8neCiW5TlZPWYNuIU93yrNtaNACcCKx3 fLJzL8+sk9fKeoF4Tk1/pSQ= =uT8j -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart3254803.JnIAfptLDn-- --===============1589480757== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline >> Visit http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-devel#unsub to unsubscribe << --===============1589480757==--
