A bit off-topic, yet related: If you think that PowerDevil will become the 
default powermanager, how is it loaded, if no user is logged in, i.e. if only 
kdm is shown on the screen?

If you had powersaved loaded on boot it would work, yet PowerDevil is a kded 
module, so how do you solve that issue?
