Strigi says that it prefers Gamin, so I tell it to look in my GNOME directory. It appears that I should switch to Gamin for KDE as well. I also note that I haven't seen any recent releases to Gamin (0.1.9 is 27-Jul-2007). While FAM seems to be no longer being maintained, it stopped with a mature release (2.7). Wonder what he future is going to be.
