Hi.

Now that this issue has been raised on the kde-devel ml, let me point
you to the relevant bug.
I've opened a new bug - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=169365 -
because we currently can't build kdemultimedia-3.5.9 and
phonon-xine-4.1.0 with  xine-lib-1.1.15 - the original Gentoo bug is
available at
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=234926 . This seems to be caused
by the use of the ansi CXXFLAG.
It should be noted that the reason xine-lib was bumped was a security
issue (CVE-2008-3231) and that thus masking this version is not an
acceptable workaround.
