Hi list,

I tried to build kdesdk from svn. I set up the KDE4 building environment
suggested by kde website documents. When I ran "cmakekde" in kdesdk directory
it gave me some error messages like:

CMake Error at kate/app/CMakeLists.txt:38 (install):
install TARGETS given no LIBRARY DESTINATION for shared library target
  "kateinterfaces".

CMake Error at kate/app/CMakeLists.txt:60 (install):
install TARGETS given no LIBRARY DESTINATION for shared library target
  "kdeinit_kate".

CMake Error at kate/app/CMakeLists.txt:65 (install):
install TARGETS given no RUNTIME DESTINATION for executable target "kate".

(a lot many other similar messages)

Run "cmake --help-policy CMP0002" for policy details. Use the cmake_policy
command to set the policy and suppress this warning.

This warning is for project developers. Use -Wno-dev to suppress it.

(a lot many other similar messages)

(then finally)

CMake Warning (dev) in CMakeLists.txt:
No cmake_minimum_required command is present. A line of code such as

    cmake_minimum_required(VERSION 2.6)

should be added at the top of the file. The version specified may be lower
if you wish to support older CMake versions for this project. For more
  information run "cmake --help-policy CMP0000".
This warning is for project developers. Use -Wno-dev to suppress it.

-- Configuring done
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.

Could anyone please tell me what is this problem? I did not find "LIBRARY
DESTINATION" in kdesdk subdirectories.

Thanks for helping.

Regards,
Franklin
