Hello Sam,

Thanks for the feedback.

That occurred to me as well but I couldn't think of an alternative which
was equally short. I think it is important to keep the text of the menu items
down to a reasonable length otherwise navigating to sub-menus becomes tricky.
This is especially true when the text is translated into certain non-English languages.

"Apply Profile" perhaps, except that this doesn't convey that subsequently changing
that profile will update that session. Strings are frozen now so any changes will have
to happen in the 4.2 cycle.

That is a stupid bug in the profile editor. The limit, which is only there to prevent
silly amounts of memory being allocated, was supposed to be 100,000 not 10,000. You can get
100,000 temporarily using Scrollback -> Scrollback Options. Fixed in trunk.

I'll fix the text during the 4.2 cycle. The checkbox being disabled is a
bug which I'll try to fix before the release.

No, but if you could file a bug report I'll make sure that Konsole respects KDE's global animation
settings.

I'm open to suggestions. I thought about using the word "Settings" instead of "Profile" so
it would become "Edit Current Settings". The problem with that is it could be confused with
"Manage Settings" and other applications which generally use the term "Profile" rather than
"Settings".

Robert.
