i don't know about the qt/gobby effort, but the gobby colab stuff is pretty 
much useless at this point for lack of things such as lag correction and 
undo/redo. yes, those things could be added to libgobby, i'm sure, but a lot 
of that is fairly non-trivial.

the abicolab stuff is far more complete and interesting, and the main 
developer is quite interested in working with other projects.
