No, not if you use findByUrl. In that case for local files the first
check is using the filename suffix and if that returns 1 mimetype
KMimeType simply uses that, without further checking of anything.

So the only thing that okular could do (depending on its internal
structure) is trying to use findByContent() if the selected backend
fails to load the file.
