For now, yes.

In the future I want to streamline things so that changing "base" colors 
automatically updates all other colors. This way you'll be able to get a 
useful color scheme setting only things in 'common colors', or you can 
go to the individual groups and tweak further. This may actually happen 
by the time you can set blend colors, anyway, making it a bit of a 
non-issue.

Anyway, I don't think there is a "clean" solution; you either have 
colors that don't do anything, or changing your windeco might mean 
tweaking your colors. Since you may want to do this anyway, I don't 
consider the latter all that terrible.
