Then you were lucky to hit a funny revision because here it works for weeks to 
add applets without crashing. Except the ones everybody that is interested in 
Plasma knows about. Yet that is a simple matter of trying it once either 
excluding those from the build or not using them on the desktop. So while 
some plasmoids might be broken, plasma certainly is not. Or to put it 
differently, konqueror is not broken if it does not work correctly with wrong 
html.
